Rita von Rimsburg is a gorgeous 4 year old smaller sized red and black long haired German Shepherd. This girl is possibly house trained and lived with children in her former home. She’s a sweetie-pie who enjoys your attention and affection, and just wants to be part of the family. Rita has a medium-to-high energy level; the “high” is apparent when she first bursts from her kennel to go for a walk. However, the “medium” follows shortly thereafter as she calms to an easy pace on the leash and does not pull. We are working to socialize Rita more with other dogs. Initially she was somewhat pushy and stiff on meeting her fellow canines but, once she is corrected by our kennel techs a few times, she relaxes and now enjoys herself in playgroups with her four-footed friends. Rita will thrive in a home that provides some training and boundaries for her, and she hopes that home includes children.
